Hoping this is now...

!!!

Hello dear friends,

I know, it's a nuisance and I don't like it either. I'm trying to figure this out so please, please let me know if it asks for word verification (I did activate comment moderation but maybe that'll change too...)

Thank you!

  3. Teresa! I was going to do a post on this pesky word verification that we're being asked to do now! When did that start? I was away from blogger for awhile and when I returned, these horrible verifications are popping up! They're IMPOSSIBLE to read! I need to go look at my settings to see if those commenting on my blog area being asked for verification! Ugh! It's a job trying to stay ahead of it all! Thank you for this!

    1. And I even get to answer each and everyone of you directly, much, much better! :)
I don't know if there's another way, I reverted to the older version of blogger and changed the settings there (Couldn't figure them out in the new version) and then changed back to the newer... done! :)

  4. Well, you better keep the moderation. When blogger went to the new bleery verification, I removed it from my blog because I didn't want anyone to get discouraged from commenting. But since I did, I can tell you that I have had a lot of spam hits, mostly in foreign (not English) commentors and A LOT of links to porn. Its a small pain to moderate them and report as spam, but worth it to keep my visitors happy.

  5. And a further comment regarding bobbling. I think the magic of that pattern is that it's not one of those pesky BIG bobbles that takes a lot of yarn and a lot of half dcs! It's a simple treble crochet (US term) followed by a single and then repeated. It moves pretty quickly. Believe me, I'm VERY GUILTY of not liking long projects. I quest for quick fixes and instant gratification! Make a little trial piece and see how quick it works up...maybe a washcloth or something. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Hugs, Annette

    1. I definitely will... I'm getting itchy to try a baby blanket (what is it with this baby stuff?! I love making baby things!) and this seems to be a cute option :)
