Spring blanket in the Summer...?

Well, I was the lucky winner and when I though what to do next with the hooks I won, I figured nothing would be more suitable than a MeMe Rose-style Spring blanket... or cushion.. as I have a tendency to get discouraged with very long projects, I'm keeping my options open!

So... here it is, on it's way! :)

I'm using turquoise blue, lime green, 2 shades of pink and 2 shades of purple / lavender, joined in white. No blues here--I wanted it to be a girly blanket, my own little blanket :) but it's turning out so nice and warm I have a feeling the boys won't mind being wrapped up in pink when it's cold!

The darker color looks like blue but it's actually purple... the colors don't look right here!

And as I can't have only one WIP, I also have this almost complete (just have to finish the shoulder strap and line it). Yes, those of you who guessed it was a bag were right!

Plus I found this nice bargain silky yarn at my regular supplier and couldn't resist bringing it home with me to make a little sweater...

So... I've got plenty to keep me busy during those long hours at the hospital, waiting for my radiation terapy session!

Hope you're having a wonderful weekend :)
xx

  7. Hi Teresa
Thanks for stopping by my place and giving me the link to your grandmas tablecloth. How beautiful! And how nice to see the same pattern as in my bed throw. Made me so happy to see. :D And lucky you winning at MeMeRose. That new WiP of yours look very cheerful and lovely. Like a candy bag with all those pastels. Enjoy the ride.
